Getting back to normal

Wedding, done. Honeymoon, done. Now that we don’t have planning to do and stress to have we are now getting back to our normal routine. Which means, I’ll finally be able to get into a routine of blogging on a regular basis! Woo hoo! 

The last 5 months have definitely flown by. Once we sent out our Save the Dates everything seemed to be set at high speed. Everything turned out great and I am so thankful to now be apart of two amazing families and great friends. Our day was very special and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

We had a great photographer who took absolutely amazing photos and a group of two amazing videographers. I can’t wait to see what they put together for our video. I got a chance to pop over to our photographer, David’s, website and saw a couple of our photos from the big day. 



I can’t wait to see more. The suspense is killing me. 

The honeymoon was amazing as well. I have never been outside of the country before and for my first time it was such an experience. I absolutely want to go back but there are a few things that are must haves for next time. And next time we will make it a friends trip so we have some company with us! 

After getting back Saturday we got to relax and catch up on the sleep we’ve missed over the last 3 weeks. We unpacked all the gifts we’ve received (thank you to everyone) and cleaned up our apartment. Now it’s definitely feeling like home again. Getting back to work has been a challenge though. Being off for a whole week and a half definitely makes it hard to get back to a normal work routine. Hopefully by next week I’ll be feeling back to normal. 

I start getting back into a workout routine tonight as well. My half marathon is quickly approaching and I haven’t been as dedicated as I should be. I told myself it’s crunch time and I need to push myself and work hard at getting back at it. Wish me luck on my 3 miles tonight…after two weeks off this could be a little bit of a challenge.
